Bryan Gribble began his credit union journey in 1997 working for the Olympia Brewery Employees Credit Union (OBEE) as a Teller and Financial Services Representative. It was at this time he realized the positive impact credit unions were having on the members they served and the communities in which they were a part. He spent over 5 years becoming more familiar with the credit union industry and gaining insight as to how he could help strengthen their cause.
After taking a short break to focus on his undergraduate and graduate studies, he felt it was time to combine his education and prior work experience by joining Harborstone Credit Union in 2010 contributing to their branch operations. He currently is part of the Human Resources department with Harborstone.
Bryan stays active in his community by participating in fundraisers for the Northwest Multiple Sclerosis Society and Children’s Hospital. He has been volunteering for the Pierce County Chapter of Credit Unions board since 2010 and an active participant in the South Puget Sound Chapter Society for Human Resource Management since 2009. He also maintains a membership with World at Work for professional development.
Bryan has Bachelor’s degrees in Management, Finance and Economics from Saint Martin’s University and Master’s Degrees in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. He has also passed his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam in 2009.
He enjoys snowboarding, reading, bowling, travel and other various outdoor activities. He has a miniature dachshund named Hunter and enjoys spending his free time with him.
